I’ve had a couple emails asking what I’m playing tonight. I was not going to post a play here on the blog but I guess it being Monday night and knowing a few people that didn’t ride my plays Sunday are starting for a win that I’ll go ahead and release a play.

The only reasonable bet I can recommend on this game is a teaser. Take a 6 point teaser of Philly down to -0.5 points. If your sportsbook allows open teasers of you have an open leg available somewhere use it here.

Generally I don’t recommend teasing 6.5 point favorites because usually a money line will be available instead. In tonight’s case we are staring at -300 ML most places and the sharper books are reflecting a true line of about -275 based on the lines. We all know that books don’t use true lines plus juice though, but none the less. The best bet you’ll get on this game is the Eagles on a 6 point teaser as the odds are better than the available moneylines on this game.

Honestly the best value on this game probably lies in the Eagles -6.5 as this should truly be a -7.5 line but in a division game and not being fully confident McNabb has the rust of yet I can’t justify laying the point.

If you’ve already decided you want to back Washington buy them to +7.5. The +6.5 has little value compared to all the other options that are available.

If you have an open leg though just use that. I didn’t have that luxury and decided to use the option next week taking a basic strategy teaser on an 8 point home favorite down to 2 points.

I don’t have much else to say about this game right now. I was initially going to pass on it but like I said a couple begged me for a play and while I had a bit of a lean Skins +7.5 I couldn’t pull the trigger and like the option of a teaser much better in taking the home favorite who likely already has some value in the -6.5 side.

As far as the total goes I have a very slight lean on the under but will not be playing that.
